Mr. Mohammed Alamour’s Biography
Mr. Mohammed Alamour assumed his responsibilities as a Minister of National Economy in April 2024. In this capacity, he also chairs the Palestinian Investment Promotion and Industrial Estate Agency (IPIEA) and the Palestine Standards Institute (PSI)
Mr. Alamour, who was born in “Bedyia” (Salfeet district- Palestine) in 1957, graduated as an engineer from the University of Jordan in 1981. He is a pioneer businessman and a private sector leader and well-known for his visionary thinking and successful initiatives. Moreover, he established and directed several companies in the fields of engineering contracting, industry, Insurance and investment
He served as a Chairman of the Palestinian Federation of Business Association, Chairman of the Palestinian Businessmen Association PBA (Jerusalem), Chairman of Alamour Investment Group, Chairman of the Takaful Insurance Company, Vice Chairman of the Palestinian Contractors Union, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Future Company for Educational Development and a Vice Chairman of the Palestinian – Canadian Friendship Association
He also served as a Board Member of Al-Quds Pharmaceutical Company, Board Member of Birzeit University Friends Association, Board Member of the Innovation and Excellence Support Fund, Board Member of the Takaful Fund, and a Board Member of Managing the Solidarity Fund (Salfeet Governorate)
